Pennyroyal Pudding grass | Mentha pulegium

    Description

Pennyroyal Pudding Grass (Mentha pulegium) is a charming marginal pond plant with a naturally creeping habit and small, aromatic leaves. As a member of the mint family, it releases a pleasant minty scent when brushed or crushed, adding an extra sensory dimension around your pond or water feature.

This versatile marginal plant thrives in full sun to part shade, making it suitable for a wide range of pond-side positions. From July to October it produces attractive purple flowers, bringing soft colour to the water’s edge well into late summer and early autumn.

With a medium growth rate, Pennyroyal Pudding Grass gradually forms low, spreading cover that helps soften pond margins and create a more natural look. Like many marginal pond plants, it can contribute to a wildlife-friendly pond by offering shelter and resting spots around the water’s edge.

      Ordering, Shipping, Tracking and Returns
      Ordering & delivery

Some products are ready for immediate dispatch, while others are sold for a later delivery period so that they can reach you in good condition and at the right point in the growing season.

The expected delivery period for the product or variant you choose will be shown below the Add to basket button and again in the basket and checkout.

30 litre plants and some larger items are sent by specialist pallet delivery rather than standard parcel.

If your order contains products with different delivery timings, it may be split into more than one shipment. Plants or products that are ready for immediate dispatch will normally be sent first, while later-season plants will be sent when they are ready. This helps us send live plants at the appropriate point in the season and in suitable condition to travel.
