Miniature Water Lilies
Water lilies with a typical mature spread of up to 65cm, offering controlled surface coverage for smaller water spaces.
Miniature water lilies produce proportionately smaller leaves and flowers, allowing them to provide shade and visual interest without overwhelming compact ponds. In balanced growing conditions, most varieties in this group will spread to approximately 45–65cm across, with some true miniatures remaining slightly smaller.
They are particularly well suited to container ponds, patio water features and smaller garden ponds where scale and restraint are important. Most miniature varieties thrive when planted with around 20–45cm of water above the soil surface (measured from soil level to water surface), although individual cultivars may tolerate slightly more or less.
Because water lilies respond to sunlight, feeding and pond size, growth may vary. Always check the specific spread and planting depth guidance listed on each product page before positioning your basket.
